The Christian Churches Monitoring Group (CCMG) has learnt with deep sorrow the passing on of Rev Pukuta Mwanza at a time when his services were greatly needed within the circles of the Faith Based Organisations (FBOs). Until his death, Rev Mwanza was a member of the CCMG Steering Committee in which he represented the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ). Rev Pukuta Mwanza contributed immensely to the work of the three Church Mother Bodies (CCZ, EFZ and ZCCB). Not only that, he was instrumental in ensuring that policy guidance was given with regard to the management of CCMG. He also made sure that the voice of EFZ was truthfully represented in these key forums. His desire for Zambia to have an electoral process that is transparent, accountable and credible was never doubted and so, his contribution to the CCMG alliance will be greatly missed. We therefore offer our most sincere condolences to the Mwanza family, the Chairperson of EFZ, Bishop Paul Mususu and the entire Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia family.
May God bless you and wipe away your tears during this period of mourning whilst knowing that our dear brother has gone back to his creator. Our prayer is that his soul may rest in eternal peace.
